2013 Music Popular

In our class, there are different opinions about music (electro,house, heavy metal...). We asked them about their favourite type of music and we got some surprising answers. For example there are 7-8 students that love heavy metal, the majority are boys. Most of girls like pop and reggaeton*. And the majority of the of the class likes electro and house music because they thinks that is modern and exciting. We include ourselves this group. But there is one person in the class that answered an unusual answer. He said that he didn’t like music, he thinks that it is a waste of time. That’s very unconventional. So this is our taste in music!

In our city there are different types of discos, but the most important and the most popular are electronic and house discos. The young people of the city prefers this type of music. 

*reggaeton: Reggaeton is an urban form of music which has its roots in Latin and Caribbean music. Its sound derives from the Reggae en Español from Panama.

THE MOST POPULAR FILMS

The most seen films in our class are action’s films.

This result has shown us that the young film industry relates to the action. One thing that has surprised us is that most girls choosen the action gender and break the stereotype that girls always choose romantic’s films. In fact, in our survey the romantic genre was the least  viewed.

Followed by the action, the most liked genre of film in our class are the thrillers and suspense.  Comedy films are also found to be popular because it is a genre that  entertains the audience from the beginning of the film to the end.

FUTURE DREAMS

 

Dreaming of a great trip. The dream of most people in the class is going on a trip to Ibiza after finishing our Bachillerat course. But other students also want to do other things like studying a difficult degree and finding a “good” job (or any job at all) after finishing university. Some other typical dreams are related to sports a lot of boys in the class dream of going to a Champions final. 

We would all agree it’s very important to have a dream because if you don’t you are in danger of getting caught up in your daily routines. 

It’ s  important to dream even though we don’t achieve them.

Politics

I´m going to explain to you about Catalan politicians and what they do. Well, I an not 18 years old and I can´t vote but I think that all politicians( in this case, Catalan politicians) always want the best for themselves. They always say that they will change society and end all problems, but in the end they don´t do anything. ( in my opinion).

Nowadays some Catalan politicians want independence for Catalunya because they think  many people want it and that it would be the solution to a lot of our problems. They also feel that Catalunya is a nation. 

As the motto of the demostration that took place on the 11th September  in Barcelona and around Catalunya last year, Catalunya wants to be a new European state.

MASS MEDIA

In our class all of the students use social Networks like Facebook, Twitter…

90% of the students use Facebook to communicate with our friends and a lot of these people are addicted to it.

Some people also use Twitter to talk about their life with other people using only a few words (a tweet).In addition a small part of the class also use Instagram to share those photos and look at the photos of their friends.

Nowadays, mobiles have got Whatsapp to talk with other people for free. It’s a free application and it’s the most useful one I have.

The bad part of it is the addiction problem which a lot of people have and they waste a lot of time with the social networks. It’s like a drug

 

Sports

 

 In my class, 1st of BAT-B, more than 50% of students usually do sport. The most practiced sport is basketball, and after this, football is the second one. Handball, taekwondo, athletics, water polo and fencing are also popular. However, we also found out that there are people who don’t do any sport at all. 

As we all know practising a sport or even just doing exercise is really healthy so this kind of activities are extremely recommended by doctors. The main way to be fit seems to be doing some physical activities but another essential requirement is to have a healthy and balanced diet...
